We are Compucast Web Media, a full service web design and internet marketing firm based in New Orleans that has been providing web site design and marketing services since 1994. We specialize in providing custom programming solutions to all businesses, especially those in the hospitality industry.

The Compucast Web team has over 100 combined years of experience in the computer/internet industry, with over 30 in the field of search engine marketing and online media buying, and over 80 in tourism and hotel marketing. We have designed over 350 web sites in the city of New Orleans alone.

Compucast was an accident. In 1994, we had just created 2 web sites about New Orleans, with the goal of sharing the unique character of our city to others who had the wrong perception. We focused on the beauty of New Orleans... its architecture, music and jazz, world-famous restaurants, riverboat cruises, swamp tours, and more. Our sites were covered in magazines and newspapers throughout the country.

The General Manager of a French Quarter hotel read about us and asked us to promote his hotel online. We agreed to create a site for the hotel and link to it during our live event, because we felt it would help the visitors to our site find a great place to stay. (He offered us a bathroom pass for Mardi Gras as payment and we accepted.)

Although our business has grown, our goal remains the same: increase conversions for our clients by designing and developing web sites to complement existing branding, while increasing site visitors through relevant links and fresh content. Word-of-mouth advertising is the key to our growth and is based solely on our personal service and commitment to excellence.
