Managed Backup Solutions

Although we utilize off-site backup solutions, we also backup all files on a frequent basis on two local servers. These backups can be restored quickly in the event of an unforeseen disaster. Domain Name Management

Your web site’s domain name is an important part of your online identity. It is important that it be managed by professionals who will ensure it is safe, secure, and monitored.

Compucast Web Media manages the domain names of the web sites for whom it is responsible. Throughout the years, we have found this is the most efficient and secure way to not only manage our clients’ domains, but to manage their mailbox (MX) records, and renewals. This also allows us the capability of making changes across the board when backup servers in another city may be required and changes to the zone file must be made.

We have often faced situations where the email address or owner of the domain name for a new client cannot be located. At times, several domain names may be registered with several companies. Registrars are very careful about making changes without registrant approval and so the process of organizing your domain names can be time-consuming, requiring legal intervention.

Cautionary Note
