Judy Weitz to Participate in Disaster Preparedness Seminar
During Katrina, many public services were destroyed or out of commission. During that time, many people’s websites were down – due to the fact that their sites were hosted on servers based in the city of New Orleans. However, Compucast wasn’t down – due to a disaster preparedness plan and quick action.
As a result of the experiences during that time, Judy Weitz (Compucast CEO) will be teaching others what they can do to be more prepared during a catastrophe – to ensure their businesses stay running smoothly! Judy will offer her first-hand expertise delivering a compelling case-study for best practices in disaster preparedness. She was placed at the center of relief during Hurricane Katrina with the Director of Homeland Security noting Judy as the “Poster Child for Disaster Preparedness.”
In this seminar she will address:
- How our business prepares for hurricanes
- What we do during hurricanes
- What we’ve learned from Hurricane Katrina
- Personal evacuation preparation
